After days of hectic parleys, the State unit of the CPI(M) on Monday reached an agreement on seats sharing with the AIADMK.

Besides the two currently held constituencies, Kanyakumari (earlier Nagercoil) and Madurai, the CPI(M) will contest from the Coimbatore constituency.
